Runa IV - deck

Frigg/Vita II

Frigg, originally called Vita II is also considered a Runabåd. She was built 9 years after Runa VI, by Carl Madsen, Gudhjem, Bornholm in 1936. Frigg may be set apart from her siblings in that she was built for a customer and not for Rønne personally, although that's to be confirmed.

Runa IV - April 2011

Chantier du Guip are currently working on the deck and the interior of Runa IV whilst her rig is prepared by a local rigger. Her stays are to be galvanised, as they were in 1918, wheras her deck is to be furnished with polished bronze.

Runa VI in France

Runa VI has been transported to Chantier du Guip in Brest. She is in poor condition and will be restaured to the same degree as Runa IV. There are some differences to be seen in the original construction and some later modifications of interest, for example the frame/knee/deck beam in the forward cabin.
